Origin Of The Town Named Igbeti

Here is the origin of the name Igbeti. 

 Laogun, the great hunter, quit hunting because he had killed too many “demonic animals” which made him unable to father a male child. So whenever he was asked why he did not have bush meat, he would reply “emi ti pa gbe ti” (I have abandoned the bush). The town became known as “the village of baba (old man) t’o pa’gbe ti (abandoned hunting). This was further coined as “IGBETI”. What do you know about Igbeti?
